A real-life campaign on a mission to grow resilience by offering practical ways to handle whatever life brings.
Hey, I’m Here spreads positivity and awareness for others along their mental health and recovery journey.
We do this by:
Supporting certified youth peer supporters by providing free, ongoing trainings in areas that matter most such as burnout prevention, storytelling, and community building.
Empowering our Resilience Squad through monthly peer-led sessions that focus on resilience building and shared lived experiences.
Bridging the online and offline worlds, using virtual spaces for training and organizing so that teens and young adults may go on to make a real impact in their local communities.
Peer Support
Research shows that peer-led spaces help reduce isolation, normalize struggles, and empower youth to take an active role in their own well-being. We provide a safe space for small group and 1:1 peer support.
What We Do
Social Impact
Young people are given the support and platform they need to become positive social media influencers, engaging with the digital world to make real-world impact. We also provide the funds and support for young people to organize offline and spread their impact locally.
Whole-Self Health
We emphasize mental health and recovery using a whole-self health approach that emphasizes six key impact areas: Health, Cognition, Identity, Meaning & Purpose, Emotion, and Social Connection. We’ve teamed up with partners such as Real Human Performance to provide trainings and support in each of these areas.
Our Impact Areas
Hey, I’m Here is focused on promoting mental health and recovery using a whole-self health approach that impacts a person’s: mental health, physical health, cognition, identity, meaning and purpose, emotion, and social relationships. Inspired by the Portrait of a Thriving Youth framework, we provide a safe space for teens and young adults to practice goal-setting, learn self-worth, hear from diverse perspectives, practice empathy, and discover their purpose.
